CodeMark Certification

CodeMark certification is available for Danpalon® panels and the proprietary roofing and façade systems that feature them.

CodeMark is a product-based certification managed by the Australian Building Codes Board. Administered by certifiers SAI Global, it is considered the building industry’s highest level of product conformance. Danpal has undergone a three-part assessment comprising a full audit of literature and performance test reports, a physical quality audit at the factory, and on-site installation audits.

Danpal is the only manufacturer of multiwall polycarbonate products with CodeMark certification.

Using Danpal ensures peace of mind for customers, who rely upon systems being compliant to Australian regulations and are manufactured to the highest quality.

UV and UPF Sun Protection

Tested by the Australian Government’s primary authority on radiation protection and nuclear safety, Danpalon® panels are accredited with 99.9% UVR Protection and 50+ Protection Factor (UPF Rating) by ARPANSA (Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency).

Danpalon® Microcell panels are made from the highest quality resin and are co-extruded with market-leading UV protection technology invented by Danpal.

Environmentally Friendly and Sustainable

All Danpal systems are manufactured according to ISO9001 and ISO14001.

Our systems can adapt to variable climatic conditions for sensible management of available light and are adapted to the HQE approach in Europe, which has defined building certification. HQE targets both the interior of the building, i.e. the health and comfort of users, as well as integration into the environment, saving resources and reducing waste.

We have partnered with the ADEME (Agency for Economic Development and Energy Control) and the CNRS (National Centre for Scientific Research) using precise measurements created in test cells to validate the thermal performance of the Danpal Danpatherm® system.

Danpal products simplify maintenance through high pressure cleaning with fresh water, with minimal soap or detergent required. There is low on-site fabrication and handling, as we often deliver systems that are pre-fabricated to size to minimise on-site waste.

Danpalon® panels are manufactured from up to 30% recycled material and production waste is 100% recyclable.

The Danpalon® system is certified as a non-pollutant and is suitable for use in sensitive fields such as the Agri-food sector.

Danpal products have been independently assessed, for a detailed assessment refer Global GreenTag International.

Impact Resistance

New and naturally aged Danpalon® panels with various frame types have passed the severe impact test requirements referenced in AS1562-3. This means that safety mesh is not required under any Danpal system. The uniquely dense cell structure of Danpalon® panels makes them the best option for resisting hail damage and small object impacts as well.

Weatherproofing

Single and double layered Danpal configurations have demonstrated exceptionally good resistance to air and water penetration through a range of permeability tests. Whether using pre-fabricated Danpal systems or installing on-site, the proprietary Danpalon® standing seam connection method ensures completely watertight solutions every time.
