High Thermal Insulation and Durability
Danpalon® Microcell panel technology is manufactured with extrusion technology, providing ten times more cells than the majority of other sheets on the market. The systems can withstand high impacts and hail. Danpalon® panels are manufactured in accordance with Australian Standard 1562-3. The additional layers and cells in Danpal’s microcell structure give strength and translucency. For even greater strength, Danpalon® panels feature minimal space and tight ribbing between vertical supports.
Effortless Daylighting and Light Diffusion
Effortless daylighting is achieved across all Danpalon® systems, glazing and finishes. This is achievable by way of the Danpalon® microcell design and expert finishes. The tight ribbing and spacing of the microcell structure transmits light evenly without glare. Producing superior quality of light and a unique iridescence, by way of reflection and dispersion of light. Systems can be customised making them ideal for all light architecture applications. Choices are available in thickness, length, width, colours, glazes and finishes.
Low Thermal Conductivity, High Insulation, Impact and Weather Resistant
All Danpalon® Microcell systems are manufactured with more cells and layers than traditional panels. In fact, Danpalon® Microcell panels have ten times the number of cells than the standard sheet on the market. Thanks to their fine microcell structure, Danpalon® Microcell panels have low thermal conductivity and exceptional ventilation. Need to further reduce solar heat gain? Infrared treatment can be extruded during manufacturing.
Colour, Iridescence, Opaque and 3D
Dynamic finishes are found in colour. Reflect and play with light inside and out for a dramatic architectural finish, with pearl, lilac, green, gold and much more to choose from. For a truly dynamic, three-dimensional experience, look to the 3D Lite range. Bright and glossy or matte and slick. There is an exceptional range of colours, tints and finishes available to choose from. Talk to us about striking opaques and reflective translucent finishes.
Optical Illusions with Bicolour
Danpalon® bicolour designs give the ultimate in flexibility. Two facades in one. One for the interior and one for the exterior. Choose any Danpalon® colours for the bicolour option. Design without limitation. Bicolour options may be subject to lead times and minimum quantities.
Danpalon® microcell technology gives Danpal® customers exclusive access to the best in strength, insulation, design and translucency.
Unique System benefits
• Unique aesthetics
• Balanced light and heat solutions in all seasons
• Superior light diffusion solutions compared to standard glazing
• Optimising natural light throughout the day
• Bold colour patette to choose from
Fully utilising natural light in interiors can be challenging. The innovative Danpalon® 3DLite system provides a fixed solution. Danpalon® 3DLite is a system for architects, designers and the environment.
Danpalon® 3DLITE features a system of alternating louvres. The very placement of the louvres in the design contributes to the three-dimensional look. Aesthetics aside, the louvres serve practical purposes as well. The louvres control the level of natural light, illumination and solar heat penetration in the space. Look to Danpalon® 3DLITE for a fixed solution that is stunning and will contribute to energy savings, by way of thermal insulation.
Balancing daylight throughout the day
Danpalon® 3DLITE is an ideal application to be used in:
• Commercial buildings such as offices
• Shopping centres
• Educational institutions (schools, colleges, universities)
• Libraries and recreation centres
• Stadiums and theatres
• Museums, and more.
The louvres in the Danpalon® 3DLITE system balance and diffuse the optimal amount of light into the space. The light is scattered throughout the interior rather than one section of the room being overloaded with light and heat. Danpalon® 3DLITE is designed to manage the mid-day sun and heat, balancing it between morning and afternoon light and heat levels.
Softlite
When you need a solution for a high glare location, Softlite is ideal. Softlite is a permanent matte finish that softens harsh light. It can be applied via co-extrusion to any Danpalon® system, colour or thickness.
Through independent validation, Softlite’s performance is ensured. Softlite has proven to deliver optimal visual comfort no matter the exposure or building type.
• Eliminate stark ‘neons’
• Softly diffuses light into the space
• Boost feelings of comfort
High Protection (HP) Treatment
In areas at risk of graffiti or environmental pollution, traditional panels can be hard to clean, let alone return them to their original lacquer.
Danpalon® HP treatment allows for easy cleaning of graffiti and pollution build-up. It is commonly used in public spaces such as bus interchanges.
Danpalon® HP treatment is applied via co-extrusion thus it does not add on an additional layer. It becomes a part of the finished product. Danpalon® HP can be applied to almost all Danpalon® panels.
LOW E
The Low E finish is an infrared treatment. Low E is an advanced finish from Danpalon® which drastically reduces solar heat gain. Solar radiation in the non-visible range is blocked by Low E. This is how it can dramatically reduce solar heat gain. Low E is ideal for high heat environments where air conditioning and cooling need to be reduced.
As it is applied to the panels through co-extrusion it does not impose on light transmission features of the panels. All Danpalon® systems can receive the Low E finish.
Heat Welded Edges
This is the Danpalon® secret to further protecting the microcells in the Danpalon® panels. Heat welded edges completely seal the panels. No dust, dirt, insects or water can penetrate the panels. This feature is essential in ensuring Danpalon® panels last the test of time.
